Kansas Turkey Hunts

Kansas turkey hunts are fully guided 3-day hunts. The birds we will be hunting are Rio Grande  Choose your style of hunting, archery or shotgun. We have a large number of trophy gobblers. We will provide decoys and calling, or you can call your own birds if you prefer.

Big Horn Outfitters will provide:

• Lodging (4 nights)

• Calling

What is not provided?

• Personal items such as clothing, toiletries, etc.
• Shotgun or bow, ammunition, hunting equipment, etc.
• Nonresident Turkey Permits and Licenses

Archery Only Season: April 1 – April 13, 2010

Regular Season (firearm/archery): April 14 – May 31, 2010

Youth/Disabled Season (16 & younger, no minimum age): April 1 – 13, 2010

Shooting Hours: One-half hour before sunrise to sunset.

Legal Equipment: Long, recurve or compound bows and shotguns and muzzleloading shotguns 20 gauge or larger using shot sizes 2 through 9. Crossbows are legal during April 14-May 31 season only.
